These are often underrated when considering pool design, they are loved by children and many an adult has lolled in the shallow waters with a drink and maybe a book for a bit of R&R.

A lot more time is spent in shallower water than in deepwater, that's why were not advocates of over deep pools.

It's great if space will allow to provide a big enough area for all the possible uses.

Beach or shallow areas provide a relaxing option and visual interest. Hard river worn rocks and trickling water brings a soft, natural, calming feel to the poolside.
